Leveraging EVP to start a cultural evolution

In 2023, LifeArc began preparing for sustained long-term growth with plans to invest up to £1.3 billion in global health by 2030 and expand its workforce by a third. To grow successfully, LifeArc needed a new way of working, driven not only by Purpose but also trust, accountability and excellence. Kin&Co partnered with Human Resources and the Executive team to shift behaviours, using the EVP (employee value proposition) as a tool for transformation.
Guaranteeing several rounds of feedback, we co-created, tested, and validated the new EVP with LifeArc’s top leaders and +60 employees. Once approved, we trained a group of HR leaders and identified key “resource-light” but highly efficient activation points to bring the refreshed EVP to life.

The Strategic Difference
We improved employee engagement by inviting teams to reflect not only on what they expect from the organisation in return for their work but also on what they are willing to commit to in their roles, activating a sense of ownership on both sides.
We approached the EVP with radical transparency, going one step further and offering a simple, honest and clear reality of the organisation, highlighting its strengths but also the challenges they were trying to solve.
